HAZMAT DIVING
Gatorbait's professional team of Commercial Divers will navigate your hazmat environments dawning a fully enclosed drysuit ensuring no exposure to our divers or your team!

Preperation/ Protection

Prior to our diver entering a hazmat environment our tenders dress the diver. Divers dress in Tyvek suits, 3 layers of medical grade hazmat gloves reaching from finger to shoulder. Each joint or point of contact the diver will be taped as well as the diver's dry suit to ensure the diver is not exposed to any hazardous materials.
The Hazmat Dive

During the Hazmat Dive tenders will be dressed in like the diver minus the drysuit and hard hat. Supervisor will maintain full coms with the diver as well as live video to ensure the divers safety and wellbeing. Hazmat environments may reach temperatures over 100 degrees, so it is important our diver communicates any and all discrepancy's during the dive.
Decontamination

The decontamination process is one of the most important steps in the hazmat process. Our tenders will scrub the diver with dawn/ bleach mixture inside of an enclosed kitty pool. Once the diver is fully decontaminated, the tenders will decontaminate each other than undress the Fully decontaminated diver. All disposable equipment as well as the washdown pool will be disposed of properly following the hazmat operation.
